Hospital redevelopment tracks to plan with Aconex

Oracle Aconex supported the AU$23 million redevelopment of Lyell McEwin Hospital in Adelaide, which replaced over 34,000 m² of medical facilities across 20 staged works within an active hospital. The project generated thousands of documents and correspondence items, creating risks and delays from paper-based processes, couriers and email, and required fast, auditable access to project data across multiple organizations.

Aconex provided a secure, neutral collaboration platform for exchanging and managing project information, delivering a complete audit trail and reducing reliance on physical storage. The system was used by 680 participants from 176 organizations to manage more than 200,000 documents and correspondence items, cutting document creation, transmission and printing to minutes, improving drawing control and boosting quality assurance throughout the project.
