Horizon Nuclear Power, a UK energy company developing the Wylfa Newydd nuclear project on Anglesey, faced stringent regulatory obligations (Nuclear Site Licence and Office for Nuclear Regulation) and the challenge of proving complete control over site activities and design. The solution delivered a digital twin compliant with civil nuclear standards and drove measurable benefits: 25% improvement in operational efficiency, 25% reduction in document control costs, a 10% cut in overall IT costs, and an annual savings of 4,000–8,000 man‑hours across 100 team members.
