Oracle Aconex was chosen to support the Airport Authority Hong Kong’s US$18.3 billion Three Runway System (3RS) — a 10-year, high-profile expansion of HKIA involving extensive land reclamation, a new runway, terminal and systems, and a geographically dispersed team working across numerous contract packages. The program required a single, auditable communications system to connect participants, meet strict compliance and sustainability standards, and manage the complexity comparable to designing and building a new airport.
