Richard Crookes Constructions delivered the US$85 million UTS Thomas Street project in Sydney, a 20,000 m², 6‑Star Green Star building housing the Faculty of Science, Graduate School of Health and a 900,000‑book retrieval library. The complex, highly visible job featured three basement levels, specialised labs and a wave‑front façade, and involved more than 660 people from over 370 organisations managing nearly 20,000 documents and 14,000 items of correspondence.

Using the Aconex platform — including document control, communications, Aconex Field checklists, Smart Manuals and mobile apps — the team established a secure central repository, uniform process controls and real‑time access across stakeholders. This drove close coordination and on‑time delivery, provided a complete audit trail to reduce delays and disputes, and streamlined handover to operations and maintenance.
