China Road and Bridge Moves OBOR Pakistan Motorway Forward with Aconex

China Road and Bridge, working on the 3,000 km Thakot–Havelian Motorway as part of the China–Pakistan Economic Corridor (One Belt One Road), faced the challenge of coordinating vast amounts of information across multiple organizations and locations. The project required strict version control through frequent review cycles and scope changes, efficient execution of complex workflows and approvals to meet an aggressive schedule, and mobile access to improve field productivity and reduce manual administration.

By deploying Aconex as a central document platform and Aconex Field for mobile inspections, the team established a single repository with full version history, configurable workflows, and on‑site processing. This shortened document circulation and approval cycles, cut time per inspection, reduced miscommunications and rework, and saved significant time accessing, transmitting and tracking project information—enabling more inspections and faster, more accurate project delivery.
