Aconex turns up the heat on geothermal power station project

Oracle Aconex supported the Nga Awa Purua Geothermal Power Station project in Rotokawa, New Zealand — a US$235M, 132 MW development that supplies power to more than 115,000 people. The project involved hundreds of participants across Japan and New Zealand and generated a huge volume of drawings, contracts, emails and other documentation, creating a need for real‑time access, robust information control and protection against lost or deleted records.

Aconex provided a neutral, cloud‑based platform so all parties could view, track and share documents and correspondence in real time, with an audit trail documenting who did what and when and automated workflows to speed reviews and approvals.
