Aconex takes project management solution to the shores of Tripoli

Oracle Aconex provided its cloud-based project management solution for the US$2.1 billion Tripoli International Airport project in Libya, which included two 162,000 m² terminals and a 4,400-space car park with capacity for six million passengers per year. The large, multi-faceted program involved hundreds of team members across several countries exchanging thousands of documents and required real-time information sharing from any location.

Aconex delivered a single central platform for document management, enabling controlled exchange of drawings, documents and communications, instant access to current versions and a permanent audit trail of decisions and actions. The rollout included local training and rapid user adoption, automated workflows that improved team efficiency, faster review and approval cycles, and full support for international supply chains.
