Aconex rises to occasion for multi-tower urban community project

Oracle Aconex supported the Gasworks Newstead project, a US$1 billion master‑planned urban community in Brisbane featuring multiple high‑rise residential and commercial towers. The project involved a team of more than 200 people from 80 organizations, generated thousands of documents per month (including very large drawings), and faced significant risks from incomplete or outdated information and difficult file distribution.

Aconex provided a single, secure cloud platform to manage documents, drawings, RFIs, specifications and communications with real‑time access, distribution, tracking, archiving and automated review/approval workflows. As a result, large file handling became seamless, every file version and correspondence was captured in a searchable audit trail, the system was deployed quickly, and more than 30,000 documents were registered on the platform.
