Oracle Aconex supported the SHBC Al Farwaniya Hospital Expansion in Kuwait City, a US$928 million, multi-building healthcare project. The work involved a distinctive curvilinear design and an alternative delivery model with more than 20 organizations and 500+ individuals, creating a critical need for project-wide BIM collaboration while approval and inspection delays threatened timely handover.

Aconex Connected BIM and Aconex Field provided searchable project information, automatic transmittal/version control, drag-and-drop review workflows and project-wide visibility. The result was improved productivity across design and construction teams, faster design reviews with early clash detection, linked multidimensional models to relevant documents and workflows for handover, and accelerated inspection processes — “We are now getting our jobs done in less time.”
