Aconex helps sports facility redevelopment project race to finish line

Oracle Aconex supported the Australian Institute of Sport’s US$29.6 million redevelopment in Canberra, which created new athlete residences, training and testing centers, and multiple specialist facilities. The program comprised nine separate sub-projects with distinct teams and was hampered by paper- and email-based workflows, large drawing files that couldn’t be shared easily, and no reliable audit trail of documents or communications.

Aconex provided a secure, neutral collaboration platform that centralized access, distribution, tracking and archiving of documents in real time, with a full audit trail. More than 620 users from 160 organizations collaborated on the system, approvals were faster, 24/7 availability was maintained, and overall team efficiency and productivity improved.
