Aconex helps residential project developer feel right at home

Oracle Aconex supported the Skycourts Dubai residential and commercial project, a US$425 million development of more than 2,800 apartments across six towers in Dubai, with China State Construction as main contractor and LACASA as lead consultant. The dispersed project team faced a large volume of information spread across different document systems, commercial email that was unsuitable due to size limits and lack of audit trails, and the need for immediate access to documents and correspondence from any location.

Aconex provided a single online collaboration platform for real-time access, distribution, tracking and archiving, with a permanent secure audit trail and automated review/approval workflows. The system was adopted by over 100 project participants, storing more than 2,400 documents and tracking over 95,000 correspondence items, with web search capabilities delivering significant time savings and improved team performance.
