Aconex Helps Grow PetroVietnam Fertilizer Plant

Aconex supported PetroVietnam’s Phu My Fertilizer Plant, a US$237M oil & gas project in Phu My, Vietnam, designed to produce 250,000 tonnes of advanced NPK fertilizer annually. The project faced an aggressive schedule, geographically dispersed teams, coordination across two joint-consortiums (each made up of two companies), and the challenge of maintaining plant operations during construction.

Using a project-wide, cloud-based Aconex platform with secure spaces for each organization and a single central document register, teams could quickly share, transmit, review and track all project information with no file-size limits. The solution sped access to current documents, improved collaboration between the client, project management consultant and contractors, reduced lost emails and rework risk, and required minimal training due to the platform’s intuitive interface.
