Dalmia Cement Bharat deployed ORACLE Aconex to manage construction of three commercial cement plants across Karnataka, Assam and Orissa. The project generated more than 110,000 correspondence items, 30,000 documents and 3,500 workflows, with large files hard to retrieve by email, FTP transfers at risk of deletion and no version control—creating significant time and cost impacts.

Aconex provided a single, secure central system for project collaboration, real‑time access, distribution, tracking and archiving, plus automated review/approval workflows and a permanent audit trail. As a result, review processes became fully transparent, drawing retrievals that once took three days became instant, over 95% of drawings were processed through Aconex, and overall team efficiency and productivity improved.
