Aconex helps bridge the bypass in Wroclaw

DYWIDAG Bau managed four major bridge developments on the 35-km Wroclaw West Bypass (A8 motorway) in Wroclaw, Poland, including the Redzinski Bridge. The project required close coordination between large German and Polish teams but struggled with fragmented file and communication flows, slow RFI and design-review turnarounds due to paper-based processes, and the need for an easy-to-adopt system for broad team use.

The team implemented Oracle Aconex as a single, centralized platform with document version control, automated workflows and a full audit trail to manage drawings, approvals and communications. This replaced manual paper handling with electronic viewing, distribution and tracking, provided fast access to project information from anywhere, and accelerated RFI and design review cycles to improve overall productivity.
