Aconex gets on board rail project

Oracle Aconex supported the US$626 million Delhi Airport Metro Express, a 22.7 km, six‑station rail line linking Indira Gandhi International Airport to New Delhi. The project required fast, accurate collaboration across teams in Spain, Germany and Hong Kong while managing thousands of documents, keeping everyone on the latest version, tracking changes, and retaining a clear record of past actions and decisions.

Aconex provided a single, central collaboration platform with real‑time access, distribution, tracking, automated review/approval workflows and a full audit trail. The system was used by 430 project participants to handle 125,000 documents and 425,000 correspondence items, reduced the central document control team to one administrator, improved auditability of changes and discussions, and dramatically cut printing, time and cost.
