Oracle Aconex’s Aconex Field was used on the University of New South Wales Tyree Energy Technologies Building, a $128M, 16,000 m² research facility built by Brookfield Multiplex in Sydney. The project faced an error-prone, inefficient on-site inspection process that relied on manual transfers across multiple formats, risking inaccurate or lost data and leaving information unavailable when and where it was needed.

Implementing Aconex Field—a secure, cloud-based mobile app accessed via iPads—replaced paper and spreadsheets with online data capture, tracking and re-inspection workflows. The result was a more streamlined inspection process, instant access to information for project participants, more time focused on quality and safety, and reduced paper usage.
