Oracle Aconex supported Sarab Al Areen, a US$300 million, 176,000 m² integrated commercial development in Al Areen, Bahrain, comprising a shopping mall, cinema, hotel and apartments. The high‑visibility project involved a geographically dispersed team across Bahrain, the U.A.E., Kuwait, Singapore and the U.S., creating a need for real‑time communications and effective management of a large volume of drawings and documents.

Aconex delivered a secure central platform for controlling information flow, collaborative drawing and document workflows, centralized correspondence with a permanent audit trail, and web search for fast retrieval. This produced a single system for project information and process management, ensured teams worked from the latest document versions, streamlined anytime/anywhere communication, and reduced the risk of delays, rework and disputes.
