Ramirent faced operational procurement problems: buyers lacked visibility into what to buy and from whom, adding items to the catalog took almost three days, negotiated prices were hard to maintain, and it was difficult to switch or engage new suppliers—limiting leverage from contracts. To address this, Ramirent implemented OpusCapita eProcurement.
OpusCapita segmented Ramirent’s main spend categories and onboarded suppliers one category at a time, delivering eCatalogs, accepting eOrders and introducing budget controls to better enforce purchasing policy. The results: 154 suppliers and 256 catalogs for MRO, spare parts, bulk goods and equipment; daily POs have doubled to about 100 and spend routed through the system grew 400% in three years, while OpusCapita’s solution also enabled easier supplier switching, automated order processing, more accurate invoices and pre‑coded cost allocation.
