Secure and harmonized bank connectivity is the backbone of KONE’s global cash processes

KONE Corporation, the global leader in elevators and escalators operating in more than 60 countries, needed to harmonize cash and bank processes across four Shared Service Centers (Slovakia, India, Malaysia and China) to improve security and simplify user rights after using disparate local e‑banking tools. KONE selected OpusCapita’s Global Bank Connectivity solution integrated with SWIFT Alliance Lite 2 to provide a single, secure global channel for incoming and outgoing payments.

OpusCapita implemented the connectivity solution integrated with KONE’s ERP and rolled it out country by country, replacing local tokens and standardizing payment and bank statement processing. The OpusCapita deployment increased the share of electronic account statements, improved SSC KPIs, delivered cost savings and stronger security, won an internal quality award, and laid groundwork for further automation (AR matching and machine‑learning reconciliation) across KONE Corporation’s finance operations.
