A OpusCapita Case Study

Preview of the Sato Corporation Case Study

Sato Is Building A Seamless Purchase-To-Pay Chain

Sato Corporation, a leading Finnish housing investment company, needed a predictable, transparent purchase-to-pay chain and much faster invoice approvals across some 1,800 suppliers and 40 property managers. To modernize purchasing and accounts payable and move toward automated invoice processing, Sato engaged OpusCapita for accounts payable services and systems (delivered as a cloud service) and process development.

OpusCapita implemented outsourced, cloud-based accounts payable services and systems, integrated a new procurement system, and introduced automated PO–invoice reconciliation with a planned “no PO, no pay” policy. OpusCapita’s solution has accelerated invoice circulation, given finance real-time visibility into incoming invoices, improved supplier relationships and decision-making, and is projected to save Sato hundreds of thousands of euros per year.
