The City of Espoo’s Transport and Materials Services unit faced inefficient, time-consuming manual mailing of about 1,000 annual school transport decisions and occasional mass mailings (previously up to 5,000 letters), which diverted staff from core duties. To address this, the city worked with OpusCapita, adopting the Printer Driver add-on to its iPost service to streamline letter dispatch.

OpusCapita implemented Printer Driver so decision letters can be sent from workstations directly into the iPost production flow for printing, envelope stuffing and mailing. The change cut processing time to roughly one third, significantly reduced postage costs, eliminated large mailout sessions and reduced errors, delivering measurable time and cost savings for the City of Espoo.
