Broadnet (Norwegian version), Norway’s leading fiber-based data communications provider, faced the challenge of digitizing and reducing the cost of processing just under 30,000 invoices a year. To extract data from scanned invoices, recognize them in the books, and accelerate a move to EHF electronic invoicing, Broadnet engaged OpusCapita and its inChannel invoice-processing services (with extraction work carried out by OpusCapita in Vilnius).
OpusCapita implemented the inChannel solution to convert paper, e-mail and electronic invoices into a single standardized flow, extract and validate invoice data, and manage approvals before payment. As a result, OpusCapita freed up Broadnet staff to focus on core activities, reduced the number of employees handling invoice processing, improved flexibility, and supported faster EHF adoption — lowering per-invoice processing costs and reducing errors while handling the company’s ~30,000 invoices annually.
