Ipost Boosts Efficiency National Land Survey Of Finland

The National Land Survey of Finland (NLS) manages roughly 25,000 cadastral surveys a year and was sending over half a million letters (4.7 million pages) annually to landowners to meet legal notification requirements. This manual printing, enveloping and posting process was time-consuming and labour intensive, so NLS engaged OpusCapita to modernize its communications using the iPost service.

OpusCapita’s iPost was integrated into NLS’s production system as a delivery service: staff convert documents to PDF and send them to OpusCapita, which prints, envelopes and posts or delivers them electronically (Netpost). The rollout across 35 offices and nearly 1,000 users has eliminated manual handling of over half a million letters, cut workload by an estimated “tens of person‑work years,” sped up services, and substantially improved efficiency.
