Apoteksgruppen, a voluntary chain of 177 franchisee‑operated pharmacies with outsourced accounting, needed a shared, easy‑to‑use invoice management system that preserved legal separation and met diverse authorization and coding requirements across independent owners. To solve this, Apoteksgruppen selected OpusCapita and deployed OpusCapita Invoices (OCI) in May 2014.
OpusCapita implemented OCI to import e‑mailed and scanned invoices as PDFs, allowing each pharmacy to assign account codes, verify and approve invoices (now also via a mobile app) while providing central visibility for the service organization and outsourced accounting. The solution is used by 320 users across 177 pharmacies to handle up to 130,000 supplier invoices annually, delivered rapid, Swedish‑language support with few user queries, improved reporting and case management, and saved time in day‑to‑day invoice processing.
