Outokumpu, a global leader in stainless steel with more than 12,000 employees, needed to modernize and scale payroll for its Finnish operations to improve reporting, reduce errors and clarify responsibilities. In 2010 the company chose to outsource payroll accounting to OpusCapita, handing over a process that would handle roughly 50,000 pay statements per year and require faster reporting to supervisors and bookkeeping.
