Arvato Financial Solutions, a global provider of finance BPO services, faced a paper-based, error-prone process for end-customer direct-debit requests that was slow for consumers and required time-consuming manual data entry. To modernize the flow and increase sign-ups, Arvato partnered with OpusCapita and adopted its digital signature service, eSign.

OpusCapita implemented the eSign cloud service (with BankID and validated form fields), allowing consumers to complete and sign direct-debit forms online and sending Arvato a consolidated file for automatic processing. The OpusCapita solution removed manual steps, reduced processing errors, sped up the request journey, and produced a rapid increase in direct-debit sign-ups; Arvato now uses eSign for new customers and plans to expand its use.
