A OpusCapita Case Study
Carea, the Kymenlaakso Social and Health Services municipal federation serving about 172,000 residents and handling roughly 100,000 special-health-care patient visits a year, faced a time-consuming manual process for sending patient appointment invitations that pulled clinic staff away from core care work. To address this, Carea engaged OpusCapita and implemented the OpusCapita Printer Driver (an iPost service).
Using OpusCapita’s Printer Driver, invitations and attachments are sent electronically from clinic workstations into an automatic iPost production process where letters are printed, enveloped and mailed, with options to deliver via electronic channels as patients prefer. The solution significantly reduced the time needed to process invitations, made communications consistent across clinics, freed staff to focus on patient care, and was delivered as a smooth, turnkey implementation by OpusCapita.
