Munich Re, one of the world’s leading reinsurers, needed to integrate order and procurement on a single platform with uniform requisition and approval processes and to eliminate breaks in media. To address this, Munich Re implemented OpusCapita’s e-procurement solution, including the Online Product Catalog (OPC) and Procurement Manager (PROC).

OpusCapita consolidated goods and services into unified catalogs—around 33,000 items across 400+ catalogs—enabling end-to-end ordering, automated approval workflows and automatic master-data exchange with SAP. The OpusCapita solution also automated invoicing, auto-completed shopping baskets, ensured audit-compliant approvals and substantially reduced administrative effort while making the order-to-pay process transparent and seamless.
