Teboil Ab, a major oil and energy company that sends roughly 1.2 million invoices a year, needed to speed up customer adoption of electronic sales invoices after internal efforts stalled. To streamline processes and reduce invoicing costs, Teboil Ab engaged OpusCapita and its eActivation service to accelerate the move to e-invoicing.
OpusCapita implemented targeted campaigns for consumer and corporate customers — combining marketing on paper invoices, contests, email outreach and an electronic survey/connect tool plus use of its e-invoicing databases — to rapidly convert interested customers. Over six months the number of e-invoice recipients rose significantly, cutting invoice-sending costs by “dozens of percent” and delivering substantial annual savings for Teboil Ab.
