Delivering Millions Of Customized Documents For Swedish Csn

CSN, the Swedish Board for Study Support, faced the challenge of coordinating vast volumes of incoming and outgoing documents—both digital and printed—across Sweden while maintaining quality, security and optimal postage costs. To meet this need CSN engaged OpusCapita and its Document Process Outsourcing (DPO) services for e‑invoicing, printing and digitizing large-scale transactional documents.

OpusCapita implemented an AFP-based intake and automated bundling process that sorts files by paper quality, envelopes and postage and applies postage optimization in real time, while also providing scanning and e‑invoicing services. The solution lets CSN deliver roughly ten million consignments per year (about 6.6 million postal mails and 2.5 million e‑invoices) plus ~600,000 scans annually, reduces internal workload and lowers postage costs—making OpusCapita CSN’s largest supplier in Sweden.
