Posti Group faced fragmented, hard-to-manage payment processes and recurring system problems—particularly as it prepared for the SEPA transition. To modernize and centralize payments, Posti engaged OpusCapita and adopted the OpusCapita Payment Factory solution to replace the ageing, local systems and reduce the manual effort of payment transaction experts.

OpusCapita implemented a centralized Payment Factory that integrates with Posti’s SAP ERP, converts invoices to ISO 20022 C2B/SEPA messages, and provides harmonized bank connections and straight‑through processing. The OpusCapita solution now handles more than 15,000 daily payments across Finland, Estonia, Latvia, Lithuania, Sweden, Norway, Germany and Poland, eliminating frequent system issues, speeding up everyday work and enabling a replicated rollout from the Baltic pilot to other countries.
