Newsec PAM Norway, part of Newsec, faced a labor-intensive accounts payable process with a high volume of PDF and paper invoices, 400 approvers, and 4,000 suppliers making manual handling and coding difficult. The company worked with OpusCapita and its Invoice Automation service to simplify invoice processing and support a more standardized, user-friendly workflow.

With OpusCapita, Newsec PAM Norway implemented a rule-based approval workflow and rule-based pre-coding, and moved invoice receiving, posting, and approvals into one cloud solution. The results were strong: e-invoices increased from 30% to 95%, 99% of invoices are now routed by rules, and 42% are pre-coded. This drove significant cost savings, better efficiency, and improved quality, while reducing AP staffing from 3 full-time employees to 0.7 handling all 70,000 invoices.
