Trizetto, a northeastern regional health plan, faced a mammoth migration from a legacy claims-processing platform to the modern Trizetto QNXT core administration system and engaged Optum to lead the effort. The initiative required far more than a system swap: rearchitecting years of custom reports and wraparound applications, replacing the data warehouse, redesigning enterprise architecture, and overcoming entrenched staff resistance to new workflows.

Optum implemented a phased migration and change-management program, collaborating on requirements, a go‑live roadmap, new program-management methodologies, and staff incentive and communication plans.
