Terkko Health Hub is a collaborative life‑science and health‑tech coworking space run by the University of Helsinki Faculty of Medicine, HUS and the Helsinki Institute of Life Science. The largest health hub in Scandinavia (in operation since 2017, ~2,000 m² with 100+ active members), Terkko needed a simple, non‑complicated way for busy start‑ups to book rooms and for coordinators Niko and Kiira to manage daily operations efficiently. They turned to Optix for meeting room booking, membership plans and a white‑label mobile app.

Optix implemented a white‑label mobile app and venue dashboard that shows real‑time room availability, enables instant bookings, and provides a calendar view of reservations months in advance. Optix also enabled custom team and membership plans (daily/hourly, shared or individual, add‑ons like parking), letting members self‑serve and freeing Terkko admins from routine scheduling. The result: streamlined operations, greater visibility across 2,000 m² of space for 100+ members, and more coordinator time to focus on community building and growth.
