1880 Bardo is the coworking arm of Singapore’s private member social club 1880, serving a cosmopolitan membership that frequently moves between work and leisure. Faced with the challenge of running a seamless, flexible workspace inside an active social club—managing bookings, access, billing and community engagement—1880 Bardo partnered with Optix before opening in 2017 and adopted the Optix-powered app and venue manager dashboard to support its unique operational needs.

Optix implemented features including room booking, community feed and in-app chat, Kisi access-control integration, and automatic invoice generation, enabling Jessica and Jacqueline to set up accounts and tailor plans quickly while linking access groups to member plans. The Optix solution increased operational efficiency, simplified payment tracking and gave 1880 Bardo’s 400+ active members easier, more flexible access to space and amenities—helping the club deliver a seamless work-to-play experience.
