The Coven is a Minneapolis coworking community for women and non‑binary individuals that opened in 2018 and now serves 200+ active members. Faced with the challenge of extending the member experience beyond the physical space and building a mobile app without in‑house development resources, The Coven partnered with Optix to provide a white‑labelled iOS and Android app and a digital hub for bookings, member engagement and day‑to‑day management.

Optix implemented its app with features The Coven relies on most — a Member Directory, in‑app Chat, real‑time Issue Reporting, and a manager dashboard with a community feed — letting staff offload routine admin and engage members directly. The result: stronger member connections, faster problem resolution, and streamlined operations; membership sits at 200+ and is projected to double by year‑end, driven in part by Optix’s platform.
