InternetSuccesGids, the Dutch online education site run by Jacko Meijaard, wanted to grow email signups and reduce visitor friction. Before using OptinMonster, the site sent users to a separate subscribe page and averaged about 20 subscribers per day, limiting list growth and conversions.
Using OptinMonster’s yes/no optins, including a sidebar optin, fullscreen welcome gate, and exit-intent pop-ups, InternetSuccesGids simplified the opt-in process and offered a free trial on the sales page. The results were strong: email subscriptions rose from 20 to about 50 per day, the email list grew by 250%, and OptinMonster helped convert 24% of abandoning visitors into leads.
