DealDoktor.de, one of Germany’s largest bargain platforms, wanted to grow its subscriber list without spending heavily on retargeting ads. The company chose OptinMonster and its onsite retargeting/Exit-Intent solution to capture abandoning visitors before they left the site.
OptinMonster implemented a pre-built exit-intent popup and helped DealDoktor fine-tune offers and messaging through split testing. The result was a dramatic lift in conversions, with monthly subscriptions increasing from about 25 to 550 — a 2100% increase — and further optimization tripling the conversion rate again.
