A Optimy Case Study
Veolia Environmental Trust, a UK grant-making organization created in 1997, needed a way to handle a growing volume of community and environmental projects with a much smaller team. In 2016, it faced the challenge of managing 25 projects per quarter with only five people, after previously relying on manual analysis and paperwork. It turned to Optimy to automate its grant processes and make changes more quickly.
With Optimy, Veolia Environmental Trust was able to build forms with conditional questions, collect the right information up front, contact large numbers of applicants from one click, and let each grant officer manage work within the project file. According to the case study, these changes saved time for both the team and applicants and improved outcomes and processes, allowing the organization to focus more on supporting communities across England. The Trust had also supported more than 2,400 projects with over £85 million since its creation.
