A Optimy Case Study
The Novo Nordisk Haemophilia Foundation, a grant-making non-profit improving care for people with haemophilia in developing and emerging countries, faced challenges coordinating grant reviews and project teams spread across continents (satellite teams in Mexico, Denmark and Switzerland, with Kenya coming). To standardize workflows and keep everyone aligned, the foundation adopted the Optimy tool to manage applications and project communications.
Optimy delivered a foundation-oriented, online application and project-management solution that centralized submissions, enabled a staged screening process (filtering by focus area), supported customizable questions and produced consolidated files for the biannual Council. As a result, Optimy improved internal communication and decision-making, standardized processes across regions, made past projects easier to access, reduced time spent reviewing ineligible full applications, and simplified the applicant experience.
