A Optimy Case Study
The Michelin Corporate Foundation, created in 2014 to “Help people move forward,” needed a way to manage a growing, global portfolio of sponsorships and grants across areas like health, education and environment. To streamline the entire grant lifecycle — from applications and selection to monitoring and reporting — the Michelin Corporate Foundation adopted Optimy’s grant management solution.
Optimy provided customised application forms, automatic ranking, a centralized dashboard for workflows, documentation and tasks, plus spend tracking, reporting and follow‑up surveys. With Optimy’s platform the Michelin Corporate Foundation supported 77 projects in 12 months (total budget €13,071,356 / over €13M granted), backed almost 80 projects per year, launched 4 new projects and cut processing time by 50%; one funded initiative supported Pasteur Institute research to reduce mosquito‑borne disease exposure in rubber plantations in Laos and Côte d’Ivoire.
