Veolia Environmental Trust, a UK-registered charity, needed a better way to manage grant applications as a small team of six. Before using Optimy in 2016, it was handling more than 200 applications a year through manual, paper-based processes that slowed data entry, tracking, and trustee decision-making.

With Optimy, Veolia Environmental Trust moved to a digital application system that centralized data, automated calculations, and generated documents from the platform. Optimy reduced tasks such as sending outcome letters from weeks to hours, improved transparency and internal collaboration, and helped the trust manage bespoke funding streams while supporting over 2,600 projects and more than £106 million awarded since 1997.
