How UNIL Supports 190 Research Units with Optimy

The University of Lausanne (UNIL) implemented Optimy in 2019 to manage its ethics validation process. The university needed software to improve communication, document handling, and time savings as its Research Ethics Commission reviewed around 50 ethics validation requests per semester across more than 190 research units.

With Optimy, UNIL’s commission team was able to reduce manual input and email threads and create a cleaner review process. Optimy also made it easier to share files, create documents from templates, and track each project and its evaluation, helping the team review more projects in a better way.
