A Optimy Case Study
The Michelin Corporate Foundation (Fondation D’entreprise Michelin) is a global corporate foundation created to “help people move forward” across five fields including sustainable mobility, education and health. Faced with managing a large, distributed grant portfolio, aligning applications to clear KPIs, and coordinating approvals, reporting and budgets for dozens of projects worldwide, the foundation adopted Optimy’s grant management software to streamline discovery, selection and administration of sponsorships.
Using Optimy, the foundation centralized the full grant lifecycle — from customized application forms and automatic KPI-based project ranking to a dashboard for workflows, documentation, spend tracking and reporting — enabling faster, data-driven decisions and easier follow-up. With Optimy’s support Michelin Corporate Foundation backed 73 projects in 2016 with a €12,509,816 budget (including projects like Enfants Du Mékong and La Maison de la Vie) and achieved measurable impact: over €10,000,000 granted overall, a 50% time savings and more than 40 projects supported per year.
