Stanley Thomas Johnson Foundation, a Swiss-based foundation, manages grant applications across culture, education, humanitarian aid, and medical research. With 750 applications received annually, it needed a way to handle different criteria by application type, support a complex three-step evaluation process, and connect with its banking system for semi-automated payment releases. It chose Optimy to support its grant management process.

Optimy provided three tailored application forms for organizations, individuals, and the “Second chance for a first education” project, while also supporting the foundation’s web-based workflows and data exchange with its bank. The platform integrated the pre-evaluation, external expert review, and board validation steps in one system. Stanley Thomas Johnson Foundation says Optimy preserved six years of project history during migration, and about 150 applications are approved annually.
