A Optimy Case Study
Fondation Charcot, created in 1987 to support scientific research into multiple sclerosis, was managing its grantmaking through a fully manual, paper-based process. Project calls were announced by post and on posters, applications were mailed in hard copy, and the Foundation then sent those files to evaluators by post, creating risks of lost applications, added costs, and inconsistent selection rules.
Fondation Charcot selected Optimy to digitize its calls for projects and application follow-up. Optimy enabled online form publishing, progressive application preparation, reminders before deadlines, standardized submissions, PDF transfer to jury members, and export of information to Excel, which helped save time, reduce administrative work, lower the risk of lost files, and improve data security and information sharing.
