How EDF supports only the most impactful grant projects with Optimy

EDF Foundation, the corporate foundation of EDF Group, manages philanthropy work in inclusion, education, and the environment across France and abroad. With an annual budget of 10 million euros and hundreds of grant applications to review, the team needed a simpler way to track files, maintain a complete project database, and help project managers see progress clearly.

Optimy provided the grants project management tool EDF Foundation used to manage applications, documents, and project history. The foundation also set up automatic generation of pre-filled standard documents and quickly launched a new “Solidarity Fund” form during the 2020 crisis, with dashboards that classified projects by region and theme. In 2020, the call for projects generated more than 600 applications, and Optimy helped the team handle that volume.
