EDF Foundation, a philanthropic arm active for 30 years that supports roughly 150 projects a year (using €40M from 2016–2019) to advance social inclusion, autonomy and humanitarian aid, needed a one‑stop solution to handle incoming requests, sort projects by theme and ensure consistent project follow‑up. To meet those needs they selected Optimy’s grant management software as a flexible, intuitive platform to centralize information and pilot their grant projects from application to evaluation.

Optimy implemented a single entry point with tailor‑made forms, an email dropbox to capture submissions, automated filtering and routing to program managers, centralized dashboards, PDF generation, document storage, automated notifications, and status‑based assessments and reports. As a result, EDF Foundation now supports about 150 projects annually, saved roughly 50% of processing time, and can track impact across programs (reaching some 113,000 people in 13 countries), demonstrating clear efficiency and reporting gains with Optimy.
