British Geological Survey expands multi-utility monitoring with Optimal Monitoring across 10 additional meter points

The British Geological Survey, a scientific research organization, faced the challenge of accessing its fragmented energy data and needed a scalable platform to monitor its complex estate. They partnered with vendor Optimal Monitoring to address this issue.

Optimal Monitoring implemented its EMMA AI platform, recovering existing data and installing their loggers to consolidate utility monitoring. The solution established a central, scalable system, leading to a planned expansion adding ten meter points for electricity, heat, and water. Optimal Monitoring will continue working with the client to use EMMA AI for identifying savings and monitoring the impact of improvements.
