University of Bedfordshire - Customer Case Study

The University of Bedfordshire needed to track student attendance more efficiently than its paper-based system allowed and to fulfill its duty of care to monitor student welfare. Opticon, through its partner Telepen Ltd, provided a solution using the OPN-2001 data collector to scan barcodes on student ID cards.

The solution involved teaching staff using the Opticon OPN-2001 scanner to record attendance electronically at the start of each session. This implementation resulted in significant time and resource savings for the university, allowing staff to focus on teaching and enabling the immediate identification and addressing of student attendance issues.
